What is
ClixConnect and how can it help my business?
ClixConnect combines a call-center with a
proprietary live-chat application. ClixConnect enables
you to offer live customer support chat to visitors of
your website. With the ClixConnect application, you can
field incoming chat requests when you're available, and
a ClixConnect operator will take care of them when
you're not available.

are the different plans you offer?

How soon
after signing up can I begin using the ClixConnect
service?
Your
account will
be customized and activated within 24-hours of signing
up for ClixConnect. Our operators will begin answering
inquiries from visitors to your site at that time as
well. You will receive an e-mail with detailed
installation instructions once your account has been
setup.
I own more than one website, can I have ClixConnect
running on all my websites?
Advanced and
professional subscribers may receive inquiries from more
than one domain on their operator console. Standard
subscribers may have only one domain per operator
console.
Do you
offer incentives for new customer referrals?
Yes, we
offer one month of free service (at your current service
level) for all referrals of new paying customers. Simply
have your referral include your website address in the
signup process so that we know whom to credit for the
referral.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes. If at
any point you are unsatisfied with the ClixConnect
service, simply let us know and you will not be billed
for that billing cycle.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, you can
cancel at any time. Your monthly charge will be prorated
during the month in which the cancellation takes place. Simply e-mail your
cancellation request to cancellations@clixconnect.com, and a ClixConnect
representative will get in contact with you to confirm cancellation of your account.
Are there any monthly minimums?
No, there are
no monthly minimums for the pay-per-conversation
service. For subscription-based services, your only
monthly minimum is the base plan cost.
Are there any
activation fees?
There is a
nominal fee of $49 for each new ClixConnect account.
This fee covers the technical customization of your
account, along with the extensive training of our
operators on your website/business methodologies.
Can I switch my plan after signing up?
Yes, you can
switch your plan at any time (upgrade or downgrade).
Your account will be prorated for the month during which
the change takes place.

Billing Questions
Does ClixConnect require a contract?
No, there are
no contracts with ClixConnect. You can cancel at any
time.
How often will I be billed by ClixConnect?
You will be
billed once per month, at the beginning of the month.
Does the
14-day free trial require a credit card on file?
No, we do
not require a credit card for the 14-day free trial. You
will be asked for a credit card only if you elect to
continue using the ClixConnect service beyond the 14-day
free trial.
Can I pay by check or money order?
Unfortunately
we only accept credit and debit cards at this time.
When will my credit card be charged for the ClixConnect
service?
For
subscription-based users, your billing date will usually
be within five-days of the day you signup for
ClixConnect. For pay-per-conversation users, your
billing date will be within five-days of the first of
the month.
How will I receive my
monthly statement?
You will receive your
monthly statement via e-mail.
How are minutes-used calculated?
Minutes used
are calculated on a continual basis, and are rounded to
the nearest whole minute.
If I go over the allotted minutes in my plan, how will I
be charged?
If you go
over the allotted minutes in your plan, you will be
charged according to the billing schedule, available
here.
Can I change my plan in the middle of the billing cycle?
Yes, you can
change your plan at any time. Your account will be
prorated for the month during which the change takes
place.
Do unused minutes rollover to the next month?
No, unused
minutes to not rollover from month-to-month.
Answering Service
Questions
How will
ClixConnect operators know how to answer inquiries on my
website?
Upon signing up for the
ClixConnect service, you will be prompted to complete a
questionnaire. This questionnaire will contain all the
necessary information to handle most inquiries. In
addition, the ClixConnect operator can search the
internet to find the answer to the customer's inquiry.
If the ClixConnect operator cannot determine a solution
to the customer's problem with the given information,
and information available on the internet, the
ClixConnect operator can contact you using our
Chat-to-Phone service.
How can I
choose when the Chat-to-Phone feature is used?
You will be prompted to
specify when to utilize the Chat-to-Phone service when
you signup for the ClixConnect service.
How can I
tell the ClixConnect operators how to respond to
inquiries?
You can specify how you
would like ClixConnect operators to handle your
inquiries, including whether you would like to the
operators to identify themselves as employees of your
company, or as third-party representatives.
What type of inquiries can ClixConnect operators respond
to?
ClixConnect operators are
trained to respond to a variety of inquiries. We
regularly handle inquiries such as general product
questions, hours and operation of your phone-support
team and/or physical storefront, and checking order
status (a website where we can view the status of your
customers' orders must be furnished if you would like us
to check order status).
What are ClixConnect operators trained to do?
ClixConnect live-chat
operators are trained to answer customer-service
questions, up-sell and cross-sell, so you can be assured
that ClixConnect will do everything possible to ensure
that every visitor to your website becomes a paying
customer.
How quickly will a ClixConnect operator respond to
incoming chat requests?
At least 75%
of chat requests will be auto-accepted and responded to
immediately. Occasionally, it may take up to 15-seconds
for a ClixConnect operator to respond to an incoming chat request.
Technical Questions
Can I use ClixConnect on my Mac or Linux computer?
Yes, you can
use the web-based operator console on PC, Mac and
Linux-based computers. The software-based application
can only be installed on PC's at this time, however the
web-based application provides identical functionalities
to the software-based application.
How do I install the HTML code snippet on my website?
Installing
the HTML code snippet is extremely simple. For the
complete code-installation tutorial, please
click HERE.
If for any reason you feel uncomfortable, or are unable
to install the HTML code snippet, simply
contact us and we can install it for you,
FREE of charge. Simply
e-mail your HTML webpage
and your ClixConnect username to
info@clixconnect.com,
and we will integrate the code for you. We will e-mail
the website back to you within 48-72 hours.
Will the ClixConnect service experience any downtime?
The
ClixConnect service boasts 99.5% uptime. As such,
rest-assure that you will not experience any
interruptions in interacting with your website visitors.
Does the ClixConnect operator console run on my computer
or online?
The
ClixConnect operator console can run either as a
standalone application on your computer, or online
through your account on the ClixConnect website.
Do I need
to install anything on my server to run ClixConnect?
No. The
ClixConnect application will run on our servers, however
it will appear to your site's visitors that it is
running directly on your website.
